Home buying is the cause of great excitement among almost anyone. The prospect of home buying represents a fresh start where you can easily alter your lifestyle in a way better suited to you. Home buying represents even a simple change of scenery which can lead to increased happiness. Often, home buying is done as a response to an exciting life change – a new career, a child, retirement. Personally, I have yet to actually partake in home buying, which may lead to my excitement to do so. I must admit that I have heard several stories about home buying where the experience has been extremely stressful and frustrating. Not to mention expensive! It is not uncommon to have a lot of difficulty finding the right home, and even when you do you may be heart broken when someone else bids more than you can afford.
Despite these drawbacks, home buying almost always has a positive result. While the process may be tiring, the end result seems to make you forget the months of trouble you have just gone through. My sister and her fiancé are now in the home buying market. This is a fairly recent development, and they have already been outbid on more than one occasion in what they thought would be a relatively uncompetitive market. If I were to ask her what she thought of home buying, I have no doubt that she would describe it as an awful experience. I can only hope for her that they will soon find the right house that will make her frustrations disappear.
