Since 1851, Taylor has created thermometers of every kind, from candy thermometers to industrial freezer gauges. This thermometer system includes a sleek base unit that conveys temperatures in large digits with outdoor information transmitted by the provided outdoor sensor.
The plastic base monitor adapts for wall mounting or stands upright on tables or window ledges. The LCD display reveals the dual temperatures in 1-1/5-inch high digits. The base unit also records daily minimum and maximum temperatures and notifies users of low battery levels with a low-battery indicator. Users may opt to read the temperatures in Celsius or Fahrenheit degrees. Inside measurement capabilities range from +23 to +122 degrees F, while outdoor temperatures range from -4 to +140 degrees F. The remote sensor features a weatherproof design for success in all climates and also displays temperatures with 2/3-inch high digits. The sensor transmits information to the base unit from a maximum distance of 100 feet. To extend this range, or to detect the temperature of a swimming pool or fishpond, the sensor comes with a removable 11-foot cable. This system can accommodates up to three remote sensors.
