Product Description:
The Bio Pond Filter is a high performance filter with a low profile that is designed for ponds up to 1000 gallons. The filter provides mechanical and biological filtration for optimal water quality and healthier fish. In the first stage of filtration, the water enters a chamber with a coarse filter brush that strains out debris, settling it into the chamber for easy removal. The second stage incorporates a specially developed, profiled filter sponge that traps most remaing particales. The final stage contains supra biological filter media for the removal of ammonia. Maximum pond volume recomended for this filter is 1000 gallons. Under extreme conditions such as high fish stocks or Koi, low plant stocks, and sunny or hot locations a 500 gallon pond volume is recomended. A pump that is no more then 500 gph is recommended. The filter is easy to maintain and is designed to blend in with natural surroundings. The Bio Pond Filter comes complete with the filter brush, filter sponge, and SUPRA Bio Media. 3/4' inlet and (2) 1 1/4' outlets
