The Sol-Mate Repeller chases away unwanted burrowing rodents - such as moles, gophers, voles - with the help of the sun! This means a maintenance-free way to get rid of these yard and garden pests without the need for regular battery changes - let the sun supply the power. Simply bury the unit's stake into the ground in the vicinity of your pest problem. Then, every 30 seconds a sonic pulse is produced that transmits into the ground up to 7,500 sq. ft.(That's up to 1/6 of an acre). This sound irritates the underground pests and compels them to move elsewhere. Using state-of-the-art technology this ingenious device eliminates the use of poisons, gasses or traps around your kids or pets. Plus, it won't affect pets or other beneficial wildlife. The solar panel is embedded in a watertight housing constructed of strong ABS material. It's green color will blend unobtrusively just about anywhere. Please note that soil density will affect the effective range of all sonic sound repellers. The less dense the soil, such as sandy loam, the less the range.

If you want to get rid of gophers or moles this is the product for you. If you leave it out too long and water gets inside it stops working.
