The soft, flexible silicone bristles on this grill basting brush won't fall out and get into food the way real hair bristles do, and the clean-up is much easier, too. The long stainless-steel handle provides extra reach over hot coals or into an oven for applying sauces and marinades, and the loop styling makes the brush easy to hang. Silicone is one of those new wonder materials that is heat resistant up to very high temperatures, in this case 500 degrees F, which means the brush won't melt or droop and can be cleaned in the top rack of the dishwasher.
